THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has denied allegations of electoral irregularities raised by losing UPND Lima parliamentary candidate Lee Mukupa in his petition challenging the election of NRPUP’s Kelvin Kaunda. Mukupa has petitioned the Lusaka High Court seeking to overturn Kaunda’s election as Lima constituency member of parliament following the August 13, 2026 general election. Kaunda won the seat after polling 22,760 votes against Mukupa’s 8,041.
