ENERGY Minister Peter Kapala has announced that Zesco Limited has signed a Power-Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Integrated Clean Energy Power Company Ltd (CiEG) of China. In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Monday, Kapala said the signed agreement will see the production of 2,400 Megawatts of renewable energy estimated at US$3.5 billion. “ZESCO has this afternoon signed a Power-Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Integrated Clean Energy Power Company Ltd (CiEG) of China to produce 2,400 Megawatts of renewable energy estimated at US$3.5 billion.
