A FARMER, Beauty Chainda, has lamented over the FRA’s decision not to buy soya beans during this year’s crop marketing season, wondering where she will take her produce. Last week, FRA Board Chairperson Kelvin Hambwezya revealed that the agency does not intend to buy soya beans because it was sitting on 100, 000 metric tonnes of the commodity. However, following cries by various stakeholders over the decision, Hambwezya assured during a recent media briefing that the agency will buy the soya beans if it finds a good market for the product.
