THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) says it has seen a decline in the number of Oil Marketing Companies transporting Low Sulphur Diesel by road following the recent operationalisation of the TAZAMA pipeline. In an interview, Tuesday, ERB Chairperson Reynolds Bowa said the few trucks still transporting the product by road were possibly doing so because of contractual obligations with their suppliers. “The pipeline is operational as we speak, and therefore the bulk if not all of the product being received in the market is being delivered by that mechanism.
