ZAMBIA Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) president Ashu Sagar has encouraged players in the manufacturing sector to prepare adequately for load shedding this year. On Monday, Energy Minister Peter Kapala said the government started planning for load management about four months ago to ensure that there are no serious disruptions this year. Kapala said the government had been planning for load management owing to last year’s poor rainfall season.
