THE Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) says despite its strengths, the 2026 Budget has left several critical gaps unaddressed. EAZ also says the 2026 Budget lacked a clear roadmap for scaling up alternative sources of energy like solar and wind. Meanwhile, EAZ has insisted that the 6.4 percent projected economic growth in 2026 is not enough to make a meaningful dent on poverty.
