FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane has clarified that government did not meet the IMF benchmark on Tazama Open Access due to the failure of tender winners to supply, which forced government to select another supplier. Dr Musokotwane adds that half of the $190 million from the IMF will be used for budget support, while the other half will enhance reserves.
