A CONSULTANT psychiatrist at Chainama Hills Hospital has testified that murder-accused Zambia Army Officer, Lieutenant Nigel Mwaba suffers from borderline personality disorder, a mental illness that severely impacts a person’s ability to regulate their emotions. Dr Patrick Msoni, who is Lt Mwaba’s first defence witness, told the Lusaka High Court that during an interview with the accused, he discovered that his condition is both genetic and environmental, and started in his childhood days when he could experience mood swings.
