CHISHIMBA Kambwili yesterday failed to open his defence in a matter where he is charged with unlawful assembly due to a medical emergency. Kambwili’s lawyer, Kennedy Mambwe, told Lusaka Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli that his client had confirmed his availability around 08:00 hours yesterday, but had an emergency before starting off for court. Meanwhile, Kambwili, who had appeared on KBN’s ‘The Big Hour’ programme on Wednesday, posted a video on his Facebook page confirming that he was fit and clarified that he had a ‘minor accident’ as he was preparing to go to court.
