CHRISTIAN Democratic Party (CDP) president Dan Pule yesterday failed to commence his defence after his lawyers informed the court that he was incapable of standing trial due to illness. This followed a previous warning by Magistrate Sylvia Munyinya that a bench warrant would be issued against Pule if he failed to attend court. In this matter, Pule is charged with seditious practices. Earlier, Pule had informed the court that he intended to call over 30 witnesses to aid his defence.
