DANCEHALL firebrand Tbwoy has taken a swipe at fellow musicians over their silence on the proposed Copyright Bill, wondering whether it is cowardice or simply an inability to read that is keeping them quiet. He noted that whenever submissions are invited on artistes’ bills, very few musicians turn up, despite the outcomes benefiting the entire industry. In an interview with Diggers Lite, Tbwoy said many people only take action when an issue directly affects them, adding that musicians’ silence on the matter is disappointing and risks reinforcing negative perceptions about the industry.
