THE 2023 Zanaco Masters tees off this Thursday at the Lusaka Golf Club with 26 Zambian golfers expected to take in the Sunshine tour tournament. Local Organising Committee (LOC) chairman Roy Penny confirmed the development in an interview on Monday, adding that foreign golfers had started trooping in already. The Masters proper tees off on Thursday with the qualifiers of the amateurs already taking shape and has attracted 40 players out of which 10 would qualify for the main tournament. “About 26 Zambian golfers would be participating in the main event of which five amateurs have qualified directly, 10 qualifying through the pre-qualifiers and 11 professionals.
