THE Copper Queens have put one foot in the fourth round of the Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers with a victory over the Black Queens of Ghana in Accra last evening. Winger Racheal Kundananji struck 19 minutes into the game to give Zambia its first ever away win over the Black Queens. With the second leg coming up on the 28th of February at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, the Copper Queens now carry a huge advantage and are heavy favourites to progress to the last round of qualifiers, having never lost at home to Ghana in their previous meetings.
