THE Zambia U-15 Boys’ and Girls’ national teams have been crowned champions of the CAF African Schools Championship | COSAFA Qualifiers after recording memorable victories over hosts South Africa in both finals at the Idas Valley Sports Complex in Stellenbosch. While the girls defeated South Africa 1-0 in the final, the Junior Chipolopolo boys had to come from behind to beat the hosts 2-1. The triumphs marked a historic moment for Zambian youth football, as both teams ended South Africa’s three-year dominance in the regional schools’ competition.
