COPPER Queens captain Barbra Banda has described Zambia’s 2026 Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) group as extremely tough, noting that the team must prepare thoroughly if they are to progress and keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The Copper Queens were drawn in Group C alongside defending champions Nigeria, Egypt and neighbours Malawi for the tournament, which will be staged in Morocco from March 17 to April 3.
