THE Zambia Police Service has advised unemployed teachers and health workers who plan to hold a peaceful march today to desist from doing so. In a statement, Thursday, deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale said conveners of the protest notified Police headquarters, which is a wrong office as it had no regulating officer. He said the notice should have been directed to the Police Officer-In-Charge in the area of jurisdiction they wished to carry out their protest. “The conveners of this ‘peaceful protest’ are advised not to proceed with their march slated for tomorrow July 1, 2022.
