GOVERNMENT says it has experienced a delay in the shipment of Zidvovudine/Lamivudine, an ARV combination agent, and as such, individuals who are virally suppressed and are on the same drug have been switched to Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate. Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Professor Luckson Kasonka says such individuals can also be switched to Tenofovir Alaienamide/Emtricitabine/Dolutegravir (TAFED).
