FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says government engaged external firms to audit security wings because the Auditor General indicated that his office is occupied with other assignments. And Dr Musokotwane has explained that the audit at the security wings is around the procurement of generals goods and not to do with military operations or guns. Meanwhile the Minister revealed that the government awarded audit contracts to six private firms at a cost of K16.8 million.
