The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has apprehended Lusaka’s “notorious” drug dealer, Allan Muvundo for trafficking in 0.57 grammes of cocaine and possession of a pistol. In a statement, Public Relations Officer, Hussein Khan said the pistol that was recovered is the same firearm Muvundo displayed when he escaped from the DEC premises. Khan said police are still investigating the shooting of the bystander. “The Commission has apprehended Allan Muvundo who had escaped from the DEC premises on 15th July 2022. Muvundo was apprehended in a special operation conducted at a known hotel in Lusaka.
