SOUTHERN Cross Motors Managing Director Ronny Palale says the brand new vehicle that Ministry of Information Media Director Thabo Kawana bought for his wife as a Christmas gift was pegged at US$34,000. And Public Service Micro Finance Company Chief Executive Officer Mubanga Mwiko says Kawana qualified for a car loan, like everyone else working in government.
