ZESCO Limited Board Chairperson Vickson Ncube has admitted that the utility company has not maintained its infrastructure well, which is why some of it is collapsing during the rainy season. In an interview, Ncube, however, said the rains were not to blame, but poor maintenance of the infrastructure on the part of Zesco. “We have not maintained our infrastructures very well. These are just consequences of poor maintenance of infrastructure and we are putting ourselves at a high target to ensure that these things don’t occur again.
