INFRASTRUCTURE, Housing and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi says government will not work with contractors who conform to exorbitant prices. And Milupi notes that projects that are not paid for by the Zambian government are cheaper and produce good quality results. Speaking when he inspected the Musaila – Kasaba Road in Chifunabuli, Luapula Province, Milupi said the road was in a bad state and government would ensure that it was upgraded to bituminous standard. The road was initially earmarked to be a bituminous standard, but was rescoped by the PF government to an all-weather gravel road.
