CONSTITUTIONAL Lawyer Dr O’Brien Kaaba says the appointment of judges to the Judiciary lacks credibility and transparency. Commenting on the recent appointment of judges by President Hakainde Hichilema, in an interview, Dr Kaaba said some judges appointed lack robust experience in either practice or academic research. “There have been concerns about some of the judges recently appointed to serve in the judiciary. I think those concerns are legitimate. Without singling anyone out, I think some appointees seem to lack robust experience in either practice or academic research.
