FORMER president Levy Mwanawasa’s son Patrick has described the debacle surrounding his father’s retirement house as embarrassing. Recently, the University of Lusaka (UNILUS) moved to repossess former president Mwanawasa’s retirement house which the learning institution claimed to have bought from money lenders after former first lady Maureen Mwanawasa failed to pay back a K1.2 million loan she borrowed from ‘shylocks’ in 2017 using the retirement house as collateral.
