FORMER home affairs minister Lt Ronnie Shikapwasha says former president Edgar Lungu should give his successor room to govern without any interference, arguing that it will be a disaster if he decides to get back into active politics. Lt Shikapwasha has advised Lungu to either start writing books, lecturing at universities or travelling countrywide. Lt Shikapwasha, however, says police should have taken a more conducive approach rather than surrounding the former president’s house last week.
