PF Chairperson for Legal Affairs George Chisanga has appealed to President Hakainde Hichilema not to assent to the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) amendment bill. But Presidential Legal advisor Christopher Mundia has advised the PF to put their appeal into writing. The NPA Amendment Bill whose objective is to amend the National Prosecution Authority Act, 2010, so as to revise the composition of the Board and to provide for the appointment of a board chairperson passed the report stage, paving the way for its enactment into law.
