FORMER first lady Esther Lungu yesterday almost spent the night in police cells. Her husband, Edgar Lungu, had vowed to camp at Ibex Hill police station until his wife was released. But eventually, hundreds of youths turned up, chanting pro-Lungu slogans, which seemingly forced officers to release Esther. Police arrested, charged and detained Esther and four others for three counts of motor vehicle theft.
