EIGHTEEN human rights Zambian lawyers have supported Chief Justice Mumba Malila’s position on the rights of gay persons in the country. But EFZ executive director Bishop Andrew Mwenda says Chief Justice Malila’s remarks are appalling because calling for the recognition of gay rights is unconstitutional and against Zambia’s Christian heritage and values.
