KANKOYO UPND Member of Parliament Heartson Mabeta has questioned whether lawmakers are not allowed to benefit from Constituency Development Fund (CDF) programmes. The lawmaker, who has been accused of diverting a CDF-procured tractor to his farm, however, says his mother is the one who hired the tractor in question to use on her farm. Mabeta was reacting to reports on social media alleging that Kankoyo residents were calling for his arrest for having diverted a CDF-procured tractor to carry out works on his personal farm.
