A FORMER Zambia Daily Mail photojournalist Stafrance Zulu has narrated how he was dismissed from Zambia Daily Mail after taking a photograph depicting Ndola residents queuing up to buy mealie meal. Zulu has further accused Simate Simate, the acting managing director at the State owned newspaper, of abusing his position to punish journalists in an effort to please the government leadership. But Simate says it is unfortunate that people would accuse him of wrongdoing like that, adding that he is not in a position to defend himself because the rights of employees have to be respected.
