THE National Assembly of Zambia has launched the revised Public Financial Management Handbook for members of parliament and staff. Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti says the handbook’s purpose is to serve as a toolkit for strengthening the National Assembly in the performance of its oversight mandate in public financial management. Speaking during the Launch, Tuesday, Speaker Mutti said the revised handbook was anticipated to contribute towards enhancing the democratic governance of the country for sustainable development. “I want to assure all stakeholders present here that the National Assembly of Zambia looks forward to playing its role to implement the strategy under the governance, transparency and accountability strategy.
