KAMFINSA PF member of parliament Christopher Kang’ombe has wondered if Agriculture Minister Mtolo Phiri’s remarks that people should not demonise genetically modified products means that government plans to change the law on GMOs. On Tuesday, Phiri said although Zambia was GMO free, people should not demonise genetically modified products because the country had tolerance levels for some foods like cornflakes.
