THE Zambia Police Service says it has removed and sensitised youths from Chief Muchinda’s Palace in Serenje District who had established an illegal checkpoint where they were collecting between K1,500 and K2,500 from each truck driver in the area. Central Province Police Commissioner Charity Munganga says the youths were also reminded that they were not mandated to collect any form of revenue from the drivers, and further warned of arrest should they continue the illegal act.
