GOVERNMENT has disclosed that it has suspended talks with the Oasis Forum on the constitutional reform process after it became clear that the Forum was not prepared to engage constructively. Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the Forum went to the dialogue meeting with the same fixed position outlined during the Friday meeting with the President, rather than taking an open-minded approach. Meanwhile, Oasis Forum Chairperson Beauty Katebe says the Forum will hold a press briefing today to address the issue.
