UNIP National Chairperson, Retired Captain Robert Mukengami, says political hatred will continue into 2026 unless the youths and women take charge of the country’s governance. Speaking in an interview in Livingstone, Capt Mukengami said the animosity between ruling and opposition parties was due to lack of proper transitions and handovers after elections. “As UNIP, we have noticed that the hatred crisis that we are experiencing in the country is because there has been no proper and peaceful transition and handover of power from one government to the other.
