TWO employees of Reliant Mines in Kitwe have died after a blaster went off while they were operating at SOB level 3760. In a statement, Wednesday, Copperbelt Police Commissioner Mwala Yuyi identified the deceased as Josiah Silomba, aged 42 and Justine Mutaba, 50, both of Kitwe’s Wusakile area. “Wusakile Police Station received a report of fatal mine incident from the Occupation Chief Security Manager, Mopani Copper Mines, who reported on behalf of Mopani Copper Mines, that two employees of Reliant Mines died after being involved in a fatal mine accident.
