EXPECTANT mothers in Mupelekese area of Mwapula ward, Chisamba District, have been given hope following the completion of a modern maternity annex constructed using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). Chisamba Town Council Public Relations Officer Clara Mulenga has revealed that the new maternity annex was constructed at a total cost of K1,051,624.32 using the 2025 CDF allocation. “This important facility stands as a clear testament to government’s commitment to improving maternal and child health services at community level.
