LUSAKA lawyer Makebi Zulu yesterday took an early lead in the vote at the Given Lubinda-led PF elective conference. The convention, which was described as a “no-name” convention, was held virtually yesterday, with Zulu, Dr Chitalu Chilufya, Willah Mudolo, Lubinda, Chishimba Kambwili, Greyford Monde and Chanda Katotobwe as candidates. Preliminary results showed that Zulu got more than 50 percent of the votes, with Dr Chilufya coming in second place, while Lubinda, who until yesterday was the PF acting president, took the third slot.
