US Ambassador to Zambia Michael Gonzales is set to leave the country after the 30th of April, following his recall. Ambassador Gonzales’ departure leaves behind uncertainty over U.S, Zambia relations. Ambassador Gonzales is most remembered for his strong stance against what he described as corruption and theft of drugs under the UPND government.
