A 24-YEAR-OLD man yesterday attacked a Kaoma magistrate by squeezing her neck and assaulting her shortly after she convicted and sentenced him to two years imprisonment for threatening violence. Western Province Commissioner of Police Rae Hamoonga has identified the victim as Magistrate Phelister Kantumoya of the Kaoma Subordinate Court, narrating that the convict, Joe Nalwendo, became violent immediately after the judgement and jumped from the accused dock onto the magistrate’s bench.
