THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has validated the nomination of Dr Fred M’membe and Dolika Banda as presidential candidate and running mate, respectively, under the Socialist Party (SP). Earlier, ECZ also validated the nomination of Richard Silumbe and his running mate Kaela Kamweneshe under the Leadership Movement, and Howard Kunda and his running mate Chipo Miyoba under the Zambia Wake Up Party (ZAWAPA). Six parties were scheduled to appear before the Commission on the third day of filing nominations, but only SP, LM and ZAWAPA were attended to.
