THE final consignment of ballot papers has arrived in the country and has been “secured” in a designated warehouse. The consignment arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at exactly 09:22 hours aboard the ER-BAS Boeing 747 cargo plane, which was carrying 185 pallets of ballot papers, after delivering the first 202 pallets on Wednesday. The arrival of the final consignment was witnessed by stakeholders including political parties, CSOs and the media. All the ballot papers are currently stored at the Silverest warehouse, ready for verification which starts today.
