POLICE have arrested Lutangu Masheke, brother of 39-year-old Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport Senior Immigration Officer Masheke Masheke, in connection with lawyer Jonas Zimba’s alleged attempt to flee the country. A police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Masheke’s brother was apprehended in Choma and taken to Livingstone Central Police Station on Tuesday night. “We have his brother Lutangu Masheke to help us with our ongoing investigations. We will update you,” the officer said. An immigration officer, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said Masheke may be detained longer than expected as several questions surrounding his dealings with Zimba remain unanswered.
