ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha says Zambia is developing a “worrying” tendency of ignoring the rule of law. Kabesha says some people commit offences and then shift blame to the President. Meanwhile, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Gilbert Phiri says no case should be influenced by personal interests, warning that such conduct carries serious consequences within the National Prosecution Authority.
