BUSINESS came to a standstill along Simon Mwewa Road in Lusaka yesterday after street vendors, some dressed in UPND regalia, staged a protest against their planned eviction from the streets. Recently, the Lusaka City Council issued notices to street vendors to vacate undesignated trading spaces to pave way for the cleaning and decongestion of the city.
