PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says the continued decline in inflation during the August general election showed that his government remained disciplined and prudent despite being in an election season. He adds that this was achieved despite the dissolution of Parliament and Cabinet three months before the elections, leaving him to serve as both President and “Chief Minister”.
