GOVERNMENT says Zambia’s nuclear ambitions require strong safety systems and public awareness as the country embarks on a nuclear power programme. Speaking during a courtesy call by the Radiation Protection Authority, Monday, Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary, Thabo Kawana noted that nuclear science and technology was a key enabler in the country’s framework for energy diversification and social economic transformation.
