HOUSE of Chiefs Chairperson Chief Choongo is right to warn that politics can be the quickest route to disunity, and that in an election year the country must insist on a fight of ideas, not a fight of tribe, region or ethnicity. Although as a country we have not experienced any serious post-election civil unrest, the stakes are always high during elections and we should never take this process for granted.
