ONE of the reasons why our national problems are not adequately attended to is because we are overwhelmed with news. Before we exhaust one issue, another story breaks. Before we resolve the “eat moderately” statement in Lusaka, thugs are exchanging punches with Mr Gary Nkombo at the nomination center. As we wake up tomorrow, there will be another issue and the thuggery of those UPND cadres will have been forgotten. But we need to reflect more from the former Health Minister’s farewell message before we can discuss the impunity and barbaric scenes we saw yesterday.
