A SOUTH Africa-bound Shalom bus has been gutted by fire in Mazabuka’s 10 Miles area. Despite the fire, all 18 passengers in the bus and their luggage were safely evacuated. Meanwhile, a nine-year-old girl of Monze district has been hospitalised after she was hit by an over speeding motorcycle. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident of gutting, saying the driver of the bus, an Irizar Scania, registration Number BAB 2898, en-route to Johannesburg, Edwin Hamulonga, 41, reported the incident to Mazabuka Central Police Station on Saturday at 05:50 hours.
